Electronic Poker is a beloved game that is able to be bet on in casinos throughout the globe, or alternatively at home on your computer, through a net account. The game rules are absolutely straightforward and consist of the player attempting to achieve the best mixture of cards possible in order to acquire money. In this respect it is very similar as a regular game of poker, minus the interaction with any other players. Of course, tactics used in a real-life game of poker, like bluffing, will be useless here.
The game of Electronic Poker begins when the gambler puts credits (whether it’s tokens, credit slips or cash) into the machine and pushes the deal button. A five card hand will be "dealt" on the screen.
The Video Poker machine also has buttons with ‘hold’ printed on them, and bettors will need to now pick which cards to hold and which to discard. For the cards the player wishes to keep, the ‘hold’ buttons should be pressed so that they illuminate. The player can decide to keep any amount of cards they want, from all to none.
After the player has selected which cards he or she would like to keep, the player will then press ‘draw’, which will mean that any fresh cards will be dealt if desired. The hand is now finished, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands shown on the pay out schedule.
Typically, the lowest winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money growing for each better hand. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It is obvious that the pay out schedule can change from game to game, so that knowledgeable players are able to choose the most money-making game each time.
Once the initial round has played out, the player can either choose to stay on in an attempt to maximize their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any money that they may have won. Additionally, some versions of the game give the bettor a chance to increase their profits, in which situation a further hand is played. There are also variations among specific games, with some decks of cards having wild cards and other differing elements to enhance playability.
