Video Poker is a popular game that is able to be wagered on in casinos all over the globe, or alternatively at home on your PC, using an Internet account. The game rules are very simple and involve the player attempting to achieve the best mixture of cards achievable in order to win money. After the player has chosen which cards she would like to keep, they should press ‘draw’, which will mean that any fresh cards are needed they will be handed out. The hand is now completed, with the Electronic Poker machine analyzing the hand to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands shown on the payout schedule.
Normally, the minimum succeeding hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money growing for each and every better hand. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It should be known that the payment schedule can change from machine to machine, so that skillful bettors are agile enough to pick the most profitable game each instance.
Once the first round has completed, the player can either choose to remain on and try to to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that have been won. Further, some versions of the game give the enthusiast an opportunity to increase their wins, in which instance a further round is played. There are also differences between specific machines, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other varying aspects to increase playability.
