Video-Poker is really a game of ability – and using the basic combination of wagering technique and mathematical know-how, can be beat. Take note of the "pay out schedule" shown on the front of each machine, and look particularly at the most essential information – how significantly the machine will pay for a Full-House vs . a Flush.

An advanced video-poker player will also realise that a "Jacks-or-Better" machine – classed as a 9/6 machine for paying out nine coins: one for each and every Full House and 6: one for every Flush, is usually beaten using best Basic Electronic Poker Method. Another device offering the sophisticated electronic poker gambler an edge is the ten/six Deuces Wild machine. These odds have been confirmed as a result of pc modelling. For the other video poker machines – even if a gambler plays the Perfect Video Poker System casino game, he will still not win, though will have fun playing!

You can find set rules defining Basic Video Poker Technique whether wagering online or in a casino – a lot like the Basic Technique for Pontoon,

Jacks-or-Better Electronic-Poker Technique

  • In any hand holding a Jack, unless of course the hand is already a winner! – four to an open-ended Straight, four into a Flush or 3 into a Straight Flush or Royal Flush – reject all cards only keeping the Jack
  • In any hand having only one card Jack or better, keep the individual good card and refuse all other cards and redraw.
  • In any hand having one pair lower than Jacks, keep the pair and reject all other cards – unless of course the hand is 4 with a Straight or 4 with a Flush
  • In any hand with a 2-pair, keep both pair and refuse the odd-card.
  • In any hand holding 3-of-a-kind preserve the three-of-a-kind and refuse the other 2 cards.
  • In any hand with four to some Straight, preserve all 4 Straight cards and re-draw – unless of course the Straight draw isn’t open-ended and the hand is holding a Jack)
  • In any hand holding 4 into a Flush, hold the 4 Flush – unless the hand holds 3 to the Royal in which case you would draw to the Royal Flush
  • In any hand having four-of-a-kind, hold everything since a one-card draw won’t improve the cards.
  • In any hand holding three to a Royal Flush, reject almost everything else and go for that Royal – unless the hand is already a Sraight Flush!

Practice these techniques while wagering – perhaps even print this page out to refer to the Basic Electronic-Poker techniques until they become 2nd nature. Go on …have the ability and hit those machines!
